Devika Dementia Day Service

We currently have eleven Dementia Day Centre's for people living with Dementia in the community;  with the aim to improve wellbeing and help people remain living at home for as long as possible. This service also provides carers with five hours of much needed respite.

We run our Dementia Day Centres in six different locations (Peterborough, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Spalding, Thrapston and Tallington), from 10-3pm and the cost is £15.60ph (total £78 incVAT). We provide stimulating activities to suit each attendees preferences and capabilities, within a safe and welcoming environment. We do not provide transport unfortunately, but we do provide a lunch of sandwiches, crisps and cake, plus all refreshments, fruit and biscuits throughout the day. We also have two live singers, a saxophone player and a personal trainer that all join us each month and that’s all included in the price. There are no extra costs.

Our sessions focus on improving all aspects of our attendees wellbeing through mentally & physically stimulating activities, music and companionship. We have one Day Centre Assistant 

for every 3 people that attend (depending on the needs of the group), plus volunteers from time to time to ensure everyone's needs are met and most importantly,

everyone is safe and enjoys themselves.

From the minute that our attendees arrive, we are in their world. They are encouraged to express themselves freely and be themselves, as they are surrounded by people that truly understand.
